the USS Arizona Memorial Gardens at Salt River.

Located east of Pima Road, between Great Wolf Lodge Arizona and Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, the Memorial Gardens is a 5 acre development that features a piece of the original boathouse of the USS Arizona that sank at Pearl Harbor in 1941.

The USS Arizona Memorial Gardens at Salt River honors the brave US forces who were aboard the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. As a nation, we are forever indebted to those who serve and give their lives for our freedom and we are proud to honor them and share their stories in these gardens.
A PLACE TO REFLECT AND PAY RESPECT
The Gardens was built around the boat house relic, which is enclosed in a glass case and can be seen at anytime, even when the relic room is not open. Due to the current health climate, the relic room remains closed until further notice
NATIONAL PEARL HARBOR REMEMBRANCE DAY 2022
This year marks the 81st National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day to honor the lives lost during the attack on Pearl Harbor on the morning of December 7, 1941. The American Legion Bushmasters Post 114 will be conducting the annual flag breathing ceremony at 8am, utilizing the flag that flew over the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor. In honor of all those that served at Pearl Harbor, the Boathouse Relic Room will be open from 9am-4pm on December 7, 2022 for guests to visit, remember and reflect.
Arizona’s own B-17 Flying Fortress ‘Sentimental Journey’ will conduct a commemorative flight the morning of Wednesday, December 7 to remember America’s heroic response to the attack on Pearl Harbor 81 years ago. The flight will prepare at Airbase Arizona approximately 10:15am (AZ time) with take-off and routing to enable being overhead the capital building and mall at approximately 11am and then fly over the National Cemetery in Cave Creek, then the USS Arizona Gardens at Salt River and then return to Airbase Arizona in Mesa.
